Cooperative Health is an essential partner with the federal government ensuring South Carolina adults living with or at risk for HIV have a medical home to address their health care needs. We enhance the response to the HIV epidemic in the Midlands by serving more than 500 patients, all of whom receive:

Comprehensive primary HIV medical care and support services in an outpatient setting

Early intervention services

Counseling in a confidential setting

Access to affordable medications including PrEP

Cooperative Health is an essential partner with the federal government ensuring South Carolina’s women, infants and children living with HIV have access to exceptional outpatient, ambulatory, family-centered primary HIV medical care and support services.
The Ryan White Cooperative Health Program covers the following patient costs when payments for such services are unavailable from other sources:

Medical services associated with family-centered care, including access to primary and other health care services

Support services to achieve HIV medical outcomes, including case management, patient transportation to medical appointments, and outreach to get and keep women, infants, children, and youth with HIV in care.
